About Me

My name is Andrea Rodriguez Roussel and I currently live in Florida. however I have lived most of my life in Michigan. I was born in Honduras but have no recollection of it. Other than art, I used to do competitive figure skating. Originally I was training to be in the Olympics but had to stop skating when I moved to Florida.

My current focus is Visual Development however I enjoy working and learning other areas in 2D and 3D works, except for rigging; It is my biggest weakness. Expanding my knowledge something that brings great joy in what I do. A few goals that I have is to make exceptional work and become the main animator for a project, become a director and one day write my own story. My strongest skill in Visual Development are layouts. Other mediums that I work with are chalk pastel, color pencil and both copic and prisma markers.

On my site I have shared traditional work, character designs and layouts and animatics. Theses projects include sketches and progress that has been done. Currently I am working on a personal project. More about it shall be revealed later as it keeps progressing. At the same time I am working on a senior film called Daycare as a layout artist and animator.
